Protergia and the Region of Attica transform Pedion tou Areos into a festive destination again
For the second year in a row, Protergia, the energy of METLEN, supports the initiative of the Region of Attica and transforms Pedion tou Areos into a bright, lively and full of Christmas magic destination for all. The "Protergia Christmas Village" opens its gates with free admission for all and welcomes the public from November 28 to January 6, offering visitors a rich program of activities for the whole family.
Nikos Hardalias, Regional Governor of Attica, in the context of a Press Conference held, noted: "Last year, our Village became a meeting point for more than a million of our fellow citizens and visitors. In other words, it became a Christmas landmark for the whole country. And it is precisely this warmth, this feeling that "we all belong to the same Village", that we want to experience again. That is why this year we are making our Park even brighter, even happier, even more "magical". Of course, admission for everyone is free of charge this year as well. Because Christmas is for everyone. And it is our conscious choice for our actions to have a strong social sign. We warmly thank our great sponsor, Protergia, who actively supports this unique celebration. This is the second year that Protergia trusts the Region in our effort to breathe new life into one of the most emblematic parks in Attica. Already last year and without us having given writing samples, Protergia embraced our vision."
Crafts, constructions, festive face painting, themed games and rich gifts await the young visitors every day. Young visitors discover the magic star and win stickers with the mascot, while in the photo corner next to the glowing Christmas tree, families create unique memories and share moments on social media.
Also, in an amazing Christmas setting, Protergia Photo Cornergives everyone the opportunity to capture unique moments and share them on social media, while Silent Disco offers a unique dance experience for all ages. A special place in this year's setting is the impressive photorhythmic show Protergia Magic Lights, which creates the most glamorous and enchanting path in Pedion tou Areos, offering a unique visual experience to the public.

Today, Protergia Christmas Village opens its gates with the lit Christmas tree accompanied by an impressive light show. Immediately after, Thodoris Ferris and Onemanshow inaugurate the main music scene with a live performance, while this year's program continues with concerts by leading names of Greek music, such as Eleni Foureira, Zaf, DJ Bobito, Klavdia, Giannis Kotsiras, Nikos Portokaloglou, Rena Morfi, Melina Aslanidou, Panos Mouzourakis, Giannis Zouganelis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Melina Kana, Locomondo and Gadjo Dilo, offering visitors unique festive experiences in a magical Christmas atmosphere, with Protergia’s energy.
It is noted that on December 22, the last draw of Protergia Powergiving, the largest customer loyalty program in Greece, will take place live from the "Protergia Christmas Village".
