METLEN Energy & Metals S.A. (METLEN) received two very important attestations by the independent organization TÜV Hellas (TÜV Nord), for compliance with ISO 37002 and ISO 37008 standards.
Compliance with ISO 37002, "Whistleblowing Management Systems", is a critical tool for METLEN as it incorporates a comprehensive set of policies and procedures that encourage and facilitate the reporting of suspicious acts or omissions as defined in the European and Greek legislation, Directive (EU) 2019/1937 & Law 4990/2022 respectively, while ensuring the protection and the safety of reporters.
At the same time, the first attestation in Greece of METLEN's compliance with the requirements of ISO 37008, "Internal investigations of organizations", proves that the company has a comprehensive system of policies and procedures for conducting internal investigations, reporting results and implementing appropriate measures for continuous improvement.
