“Journey to the Light” by Stavros Xarchakos continues this summer, with the support of METLEN

Athens, Greece – June 23, 2025 – With a breathtaking concert at the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Stavros Xarchakos reopened a new chapter of performances at archaeological sites, titled “Journey to the Light,” supported by METLEN.

Joined by vocalists Dimitris Bassis, Alkistis Protopsalti, and Iro Saia, along with ten top-tier musicians, Xarchakos offered an emotionally charged experience in the heart of Athens, marked by his passion and the deeply Hellenic sound of his music.

“Journey to the Light” began in 2024 at the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio and continued at the Temple of Aphaia in Aegina and the Acropolis Museum. This summer, it returns with a new tour.

Stavros Xarchakos continues to guide us through sacred spaces of light: iconic monuments of ancient Greece that remain vibrant elements of our enduring cultural heritage, now hosting his multifaceted and profoundly Greek musical work.
