Athens, Greece 13 May 2021 – MYTILINEOS (RIC: MYTr.AT, Bloomberg: MYTIL.GA, ADR: MYTHY US) through its Sustainable Engineering Solutions Business Unit (SES BU), announces its cooperation with Selcoms-i, a technology company which operates inter alia in the field of Energy Management Solution, incorporating alternative fuels (biofuels / sustainable fuel supplements).
Focusing on identifying sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions, this cooperation provides for the exclusive use and exploitation of BOOSTplus, an innovative and 100% green fuel supplement. It is essentially a "bio" fuel booster, consisting of 97% vegetable oil blend without the addition of synthetic chemicals. BOOSTplus conforms to all international fuel and biofuel standards when added to diesel engines. It improves engine performance significantly, while reducing CO2 emissions’ production through a more efficient fuel combustion. At the same time, it reduces particulate emissions, optimizes fuel usage, and improves long term engine wear-and-tear, contributing to overall OPEX reduction and thus achieving economies of scale.
