Protergia Charge - The future of energy and e-mobility has already reached the Municipality of Athens

Protergia, MYTILINEOS’ Power & Gas Business Unit, the largest private supplier of energy in Greece, paves the only way forward for the future of e-mobility! Accessible to all, so as to meet the full needs of the citizens, Protergia starts with a collaboration with the Municipality of Athens.  

By participating in the Athens Municipality Program "Adopt your City", Protergia creates the largest network of publicly accessible chargers in Greece, with 25 recharging sites, where  plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle users will be able to charge their cars. These chargers are available in 16 different areas, covering all 7 Municipal Communities in the city:

- Manidrou (Michalakopoulou) Park, in Ilissia

- 23B Archimidous, in Pagrati

- Herodou Attikou, opposite no. 25 – close to Kallimarmaro

- 25 Eleftherias Square (Koumoundourou Square)

 66 Herakleidon, Thiseion

- 34 Evmolpidon, in Gazi

- 47 Velvendou, in Ano Kipseli

- Christou Mantika, in Kipseli (in front of a park)

- 30 Fidippidou, in Ampelokipoi

- Argentina Democracy Square, in Ampelokipoi

- Soutsou, opposite to Mavili Square

-Anapafseos & Razikotsika, in Metz

- Georgiou Kafantari &  Vouliagmenis Avenue, in Agios Artemios

- 1-3 Iakovidou, in Patissia

-Athinas & Lykourgou, in Omonoia

- 7 Skoufa, in Kolonaki

In the next few days, the electric charger installation process shall be completed, in one more area:

- 25 Tripoleos, in Kolonos

In an effort to provide additional incentives for e-mobility, vehicle charging in the first year will be completely free of charge.

Protergia has already dynamically joined e-mobility with the Charge Home Complete / Charge Business Complete programs, aimed at owners of electric or  plug-in hybrid cars. With these upgraded e-mobility services, Protergia customers have access to integrated solutions tailored to their personal needs. In addition, Protergia also provides for the procurement, installation and commissioning of chargers, as well as for the technical support to ensure their smooth operation. Finally, the competitive ‘green’ electricity product Charge Home Energy MVP, specially designed for electric vehicle owners, aims to make the transition to e-mobility more accessible with significant savings on daily vehicle charging.

Through the Protergia ChargeApp, now available for iOS & Android, owners of electric vehicles can search for the nearest recharging points across Greece, start, monitor and interrupt their vehicle charging sessions, and receive real-time notifications on their charging session progress.
