METLEN Energy & Metals (METLEN) and knowl announce the launch of the 2nd cycle of Data Youth, an innovative program that enhances digital literacy and employability for unemployed young people aged 18-35.
What is Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Networks, and Cybersecurity? According to the Future of Jobs Report 2025 by the World Economic Forum, the demand for these modern technological skills will steadily increase until 2030. Data Youth directly addresses this need by offering free counseling, training, and connections to the job market.
Data Youth has already proven its effectiveness, successfully helping 5 graduates enter the job market. Additionally, 100% of participants stated that they acquired valuable skills and would recommend the program to others.
The results of the 1st Data Youth cycle demonstrated the program’s strong impact, with 26 beneficiaries from across Greece, 2,040 hours of training and 12 thematic training sessions, including:
Based on knowl’s award-winning Skills & Employability Accelerator methodology, Data Youth is a holistic and personalized training program tailored to the strengths of each participant. It is offered free of charge as part of METLEN Energy & Metals’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty (1), Quality Education (4), Decent Work & Economic Growth (8), and Reduced Inequalities (10).
