Project Summary
The scope of the project includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of Solar hybrid power plants which will electrify four Nigerian universities.
Each system is composed of a PV park, batteries, power management equipment, diesel generating set, upgrade of existing distribution network, rehabilitation & provision of street lighting, as well as a building to be used as a Training Centre.
The power plant complex consists of one power plant of 3MW, two of 2MW and one of 0.5MW output power. The scope of the project as also includes the supply of operations & maintenance (O&M) services for one year.
The project will be carried out on a fast-track execution basis, since the first University will be electrified within 7 months and the entire project will be delivered within 13 months.
