Recruitment from local communities
ALUMINIUM S.A. gives priority to recruiting employees, and especially labour personnel, from the local community where its operations are located (Viotia).
In 2011, recruitment by the Company of personnel from the Prefecture of Viotia stood at 67% of total recruitment, up 4 percent points from 2010, with the
percentage of senior management executives recruited from the local community remaining stable at 11.1%. The term “Senior Management” as defined by
the Company also includes the Company’s Plant Steering Committee, which consists of nine (9) members.
